Omi Tran is the passion project of Tran Trung Thong, a native Vietnamese with a deep love for the cuisine of his homeland and that of his neighbors. The journey began many years ago in a small province of Nghe An in Vietnam, where Thong learned the secrets of traditional Vietnamese cuisine from his grandmother. These valuable experiences and memories inspired him to open a restaurant that brings the authentic flavors and rich culture of Vietnam to Berlin. After numerous travels through Vietnam and Thailand, and visits to many local markets and street food stalls, Thong has collected the best recipes and techniques to offer you an unparalleled culinary experience.

Each dish at Omi Tran is a tribute to these two fascinating countries and their diverse cuisines. Join us on this gastronomic journey and discover the flavors of Vietnam and Thailand like never before.
